Apollo has successfully combined the best of both worlds together in an affordable high performance steel shaft. The Apollo Acculite 85 is available in separate R (regular) and S (stiff) flexes.

I've used TTDGS400's, PX's and some others, but behind the CWS's these are my favorite iron shaft. I've never had a consistency issue and love the ball flight I get with them. If you're on a budget- or just don't want to pay extra $$$ for marketing and Tour usage- and need a solid iron shaft, look these up.(Posted on 5/18/13)

Comments about Apollo Standard Steel: Stumbled across these and thought I would give them a shot. Re-shafted a set of r7's and just had a chance to hit them. Very impressed. I Like the stepless appearance but didn't care for the PX price tag. These shafts perform comprable for 1/10th the price. Good ball flight and improved distance over stock. Noticed they play a little firmer to flex.

Comments about Apollo Standard Steel: As a Professional club builder it is good inexpensive steel shaft designed for players getting started and a better player looking for a higher launch and more spin.
